Google Ads Setup
Covers the technical measurement setup and GA4 integration - not campaign management, bid strategy, or ad copywriting.
Conversion tracking that actually shows which click turned into a lead - not a report where every campaign looks identical. I integrate Google Ads with the same typed GA4 event system I use to measure every other interaction on this site, gated behind the consent category.
Why Work With Me
I bring more than code to the table. Here is what makes working with me different from typical agencies.
Lightning Fast Delivery
I use modern frameworks and proven workflows to deliver projects 40% faster than traditional agencies without compromising quality.
Battle-Tested Code
Every line of code is written with TypeScript, follows best practices, and includes automated tests for reliability.
Always Responsive
Direct communication with me - no account managers, no delays. Get answers within hours, not days.
Long-term Partnership
I don't disappear after launch. I stay for maintenance, updates, and continuous improvements of your product.
Conversions Pinned To One Event, Not A Guess
Every Google Ads conversion is defined as a typed entry in AnalyticsEventMap with one stable identifier - checked at build time, not discovered after the fact in reports.
One Typed Schema, Two Reporting Channels
GA4 and Meta draw from the same typed event source through a shared adapter - a second reporting channel arrives without touching a single call site.
What Google Ads Setup Covers
Conversion Tracking
I configure Google Ads conversion events as typed entries checked at build time - the name and param shape can't drift between campaigns or get silently overwritten.
GA4 Integration
I wire Google Ads into the same typed GA4 event system that already measures every other interaction on this site - one source of truth instead of two independent, drifting measurements.
Consent-Aware Measurement
GA4 loads as a script assigned to "measurement" consent category - no conversion event fires before the visitor consents to measurement.
Typed Event Parameters
Conversion event parameters are pinned to stable identifiers, never translated interface labels - the exact same rule I apply to every other analytics integration on this site.
Conversion Attribution Verification
Before closing the project, I check Google's own debugging tools to confirm every configured conversion lands against the correct campaign and ad group - not something left to discover after the first spend.
What's Included / What's Not
Transparent Process
No black boxes. You know exactly what is happening at every stage.
Audit The Current Conversion Tracking
I check whether the Google Ads conversion tag fires at all, whether it fires more than once for the same interaction, and whether the existing events can even be told apart in reports. Most accounts I audit track "clicks", not actual conversions.
Configure Conversion Events
I define conversion events as typed entries in AnalyticsEventMap - with the name and param shape checked at build time, not discovered in the browser console after the fact. Every event gets a stable identifier, never a translated interface label.
Integrate GA4 And Consent Mode
I wire the conversion events into GA4, loaded as a script under "measurement" consent category - no event fires before the visitor consents, and the whole mechanism silently no-ops when the measurement ID is unset, instead of throwing an error.
Verification And Documentation
I check every event in Google's debugging tools, confirm conversions land against the correct campaign and ad group, and leave behind event-map documentation so you know exactly what's being measured and why.
