This site's robots.ts generates a disallow rule that matches exactly what sitemap.ts excludes from its URL list at the same time - no page is blocked in one file and submitted in the other. I apply the same synchronization discipline to Search Console setup for clients.

I check that robots.txt and sitemap.xml agree with each other - so no page excluded from indexing is simultaneously submitted in the sitemap as an indexing candidate.

Post-Migration URL Monitoring

After any URL structure change I monitor Search Console for new 404 errors, the pace of re-indexing for the new URLs, and any loss of search visibility - catching a visibility drop in its first days is what keeps it from becoming a ranking loss.

Wherever a route's Polish path differs from its canonical key, the old URL gets a permanent 301 redirect computed at server startup directly from next-intl's routing table - not typed in one by one in code, where a single typo silently breaks one redirect.

Canonical and hreflang alternates are generated for every PL/EN URL pair, so Google always knows which language version is the correct indexing target and never has to guess between near-identical URLs - especially important during a structure change.
